TinEye is the first image search engine on the Internet to use image recognition technology. It uses reverse image search engine technology to search for similar images to the uploaded image. It can not only search for images from foreign websites, but also supports searching for images from domestic websites and even images from major forums in China. TinEye also provides other unique search services.
TinEye allows users to search for images using images. When we have an image on our computer and don't know where it comes from, or when the image we like on our computer is too small and has a blurry resolution, or when we want to know who is in a certain image, we can use TinEye. TinEye constantly crawls the web and adds images to its index. Currently, TinEye has indexed over 18 billion images.

How TinEye works:
TinEye uses image recognition to search for images and find images that match your search image. It does not use the image name or any data related to your search image.
When you submit an image to search, TinEye creates a unique and compact digital signature or "fingerprint" for it using image recognition, and then compares this fingerprint with all other images in our index to find matches. TinEye uses powerful and accurate image recognition, so it can even find partial images that match your search image.
